Our dance groups competed in the Greek Folk Dance Festival in Annapolis, Maryland in January 2007.  The GOYA group (13-18 yrs old - Ellinopoula) placed 2nd in the Senior category, the 11-12 year olds (Ellinki Psihi) placed 1st in the Junior category and also received the costume award for their Thracen costumes, and the 8-10 years old (Asteria) were awarded "BEST IN SHOW" for Division II (highest award in the competition) and also received the costume award.  The GOYA dance group traveled to Clearwater, Florida in February 2007 to compete in the Helenic Dance Festival, sponsored by the Atlanta Metropolis.  They placed 2nd in the Advanced Senior category among 11 teams.

Choir Concert: Sunday, 3:00 pm
The 20 member choir of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, conducted by Renee Root, will perform a short program on Sunday, at 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of the church. The program will include Liturgical music and folksongs by prominent Greek composers including Theodore Bogdanos, Tikey Zes and Frank Desby. Admission is free and open to the public.

Music - The "Golden Sounds":  from Washington, D.C.
Performing Thursday through Saturday night, starting at 5:30 pm each day. Join in on the dancing. Opa!

Tours of the Church:  Learn about the Orthodox Christian Church during tours of the Sanctuary. Respect for the Sanctuary should be observed at all times. No food or drinks are allowed.
Tours at: 1:00, 4:00, and 7:00 pm each day.
